There are enxanetes all around us
that shower us with castells.
They fill our lives with beauty
and aletes from up above.
There are enxanetes for pilars
and enxanetes for castells,
there are even mighty enxanetes
for top of the range castells.
Enxanetes help our lives to flow
so let them to do their job
and allow them to cheer up one’s life.

Fira Mediterrània Tirallongues i Minyons a Manresa

Manresa is the capital of the comarca of Bages, located in the geographic center of Catalonia, EU.

Manresa is not a city to be visited in a hurry. Its Human Towers, its people, its landscapes, its architecture will be etched you on your memory forever. The Passeig (Avenue) Pere III, along with Àngel Guimerà Street is the most important commercial area of Manresa. It has 2 km long.

La Colla Castellera Tirallongues de Manresa

Human Towers mean castells or castells mean Human Towers, call it as you like.

It is impossible to imagine Manresa as it is nowadays without la Colla Castellera Tirallongues. Born in Manresa, in early 90s, Tirallongues born dressed with skills on building up human towers. Soon was attracted by the outstanding human towers that its members make not only in Manresa but abroad as well. 

Tirallongues’s legacy to the human towers world is very important: apart from being the first human towers team nestled in the central area of Catalonia, not long ago Tirallongues won a human towers contest, its work enhances the natural beauty of human towers and reflects its commitment to keep Catalonia’s culture alive.

This is just one of the possible ways to enjoy Manresa but there’re many more you will discover by yourself. Of course, this is merely a suggestion and should not stop you from adding your own ideas while you be in Manresa.
