The principality of Andorra is a country situated in the mountain of the Pyrenees between France and Catalonia. The official language is el Catalan and its patron day is 8th- September when they celebrate the Meritxell day and Andorra’s national day. The capital town of Andorra, Andorra la Vella, it is by the river Valira. Valira gives mane to a local radio station which broadcasts local info.
Andorra is known by its high mountains, peaks and lakes. The most well known lakes are, l'Estany de Tristaina and the llac d'Engolasters. The mild climate, the countryside, and a lot of ski-resorts together with Andorra's commercial attraction of low priced goods, have made it a very popular holiday resort. Furthermore, the accommodation in Andorra is dead easy, Andorra has a lot of hotels and campsites. In winter it is good for skiing and in summer it is good for walking, trekking and sightseeing, and thru the whole year for shopping and chill out.
