Manresa is the capital of the Comarca of Bages located in the geographic center of Catalunya being about 60 km north of Barcelona.
The culture, sport, and Catalan traditions are everywhere in Manresa. The 15th edition of la Fira Mediterrània de Manresa will be held from 8 to 11 November 2012
Fira Mediterrània of Manresa is a market for new artistic creations inspired by Catalan traditions or those common to the Mediterranean shores. Being a market, the main objective of Mediterrània is to help the programmed acts to be contracted by the attending programmers. There are usually around a hundred different artistic shows on offer: Music, theater and dance shows. Shows for adult and family audiences. Stage shows and also street performances.

And this, Castells, is what la Colla Castellera Tirallongues de Manresa is going to build up on November 10th at 18:00h in la Plana de l'Om*. So, if you are in the city or near, take a stroll to la Plana de l'Om – which is gonna be chock-a-block of people – to see a thrilling human towers display carry out by far more than three hundred human towers makers.
