LA FIRA MEDITERRÀNIA: Is a market for new artistic creations inspired by the Catalan traditions or those common to the Mediterranean shores. The 12th edition of the Market will be held from 5 to 8 November 2009. Most of the shows are Catalan, but the event is open to all regions of the Mediterranean.

Company: Tirallongues de Manresa & Minyons de l'Arboç.
From Manresa, Catalonia: The castellers (human towers) team Tirallongues of Manresa, the first team from the El Bages area, will once again present their act this year, this time with the collaboration of the historic team Minyons de l'Arboç. An afternoon dedicated to these human constructions that climb towards the sky to the rhythm of gralles (Catalan double reed instrument) and small drums, with an aspect of risk and loaded with passion, in which strength and technique play equal parts.
