Sardanes and castells are two well-known ingredients of Catalan popular tradition. However, to see them performed live is always a surprise, particularly in the latter case, in which different Colles or groups build up the highest human towers in an absolutely thrilling spectacle.
CASTELLS DAY with Guest Colles.
Sunday 23 at 12 noon, in Plaça de Sant Jaume.
On this occasion els Castellers de Barcelona, els Minyons de Terrassa and, els Castellers de Vilafranca will built up the most spectacular human towers.
CASTELLS DAY with home Colles.
Monday 24 at 12.30 pm, in Plaça de Sant Jaume.
When the city’s giants and the Eagle have performed their dances, Barcelona’s home human towers teams will demonstrate their skills building up more human towers.
