A leftwing- green council cutting trees.

The Barcelona city council ruled by PSC (a socialist political party) and by ICV (a leftwing-green political party) wants to cut a lot of trees in Collserola Mountain to make way to build a roller coaster in Tibidabo funfair park, Barcelona.
The city council voted this project down, but the socialist Mayor Jordi Hereu and the leftwing party ICV environment head Imma Mayol are going forward. Days ago a Funfair plane ride in the park was hijacked by pro-forest organizations hanging a banner saying: PROU “enough”. The ruckus over the new roller coaster will go on and the political fray as well.
